- Description:
- Fan, folding. Paper leaf on pierced ivory sticks. Outer ivory stick has an oval mirror in metal frame at top end. Pleated paper leaf with embossed decoration, including bronze-colored diamonds along top edge and vine-like design that encircles flowers and leaves; in center is a hand-colored lithograph depicting three 18th-century people: two women, one dressed simply in green, pink, and brown, and the other dressed in a long billowy pink skirt and rose bodice; next to her is a man dressed in short black pants, shirt, and long jacket. On reverse is a bronze floral design. Sticks pierced with vine design.
