- Gold thimble in leather case. Thimble engraved "1831 FF 1881" in band around base. Upper two-thirds of thimble is covered with crosshatch pattern and lower band has decorative engraving. In purple pebbled leather case with gray silk lining; brass hinge and brass clasp.
