- Button, "L & B / R.R. CO". Brass. Two pieces. Front convex. Rounded edge around perimeter. Five-pointed relief star in center. Background striated lines. Above star relief characters, serif letters: "L & B". Single pellet on either side of star. Below star: "R. R. CO". Brass loop soldered in center on back. Slightly concave depression where loop soldered. Very fine dots around edge of depression. Bas relief letters on back, circular pattern, all facing one direction:" "SCOVILL MF'G CO." Bottom portion left to right: "WATERBURY". Around outside of lettering, small groove where the two portions of button glued together.
