Monogram: "CGJ". Pencil and possibly some white chalk or pencil additions. "C" and "G" have plain edges and shading inside to indicated sculpted quality. "J" has some diagonal shading lines. Some shadows on and under characters. Some white lines around edges of some of characters that may be early guide lines for creation of monogram as they no exactly follow finished outlines.
Writing on back in pencil script lower left corner: "Clapp 1/28/58". - Material:
