- Woman's skirt holder, shaped like a shell. Gold. Miniature tongs with ring and chain. Two shells fit together with shallow serrations at their outside edge. Shaft 3.26 cm long with loop at one end. Spring action in shaft can be locked closed by small sliding loop that encircles shaft. 3.77 cm chain connects device to 1.8 cm ring. Metal ring. All pieces with gold-tone color.
