- Description:
- Pendant, gold-plated(?), hair, photograph. Oval gold-tone case. On one side, oval edge beveled glass with daguerreotype image under it. Image of seated woman, facing forward. Hands resting on lap. Dark-colored dress with small white collar. Short hair combed back on sides. Case front has mixture of bright and tarnished finely molded decoration. Ring on top, also tarnished. Oval insert of bright gold-tone metal with engine-turned small repetitive designs on back. Small frame, 2.1 cm high x 1.8 cm wide on upper portion of back. Metal glass insert in metal frame. Under glass, woven piece of brown hair. Plain oval field with initials "GER" in it below oval. Below initials, "1845". Some bright and slightly-tarnished areas on outer edge of back. Fancy oval section uniformly bright gold-tone.
