- Political ribbon badge, Republican National Convention, 1904. Bronze pin with relief image of eagle and U.S. Capitol. Bronze shield-shaped medallion with decorative scrollwork and two celluloid inserts, white on blue: "DELEGATE" and "REPUBLICAN / NATIONAL CONVENTION / CHICAGO / JUNE 21ST / 1904". Reverse of medallion marked "WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. / NEWARK, N.J. / PAT. APPLD FOR". Silk ribbon with red, white, and blue vertical stripes. Reverse of ribbon has partial printed paper maker's label: "The Political and / Manufacturing [Company] / BADGES, LAPEL [BUTTONS,] / BANNERS, [ETC.] / ROOMS 506-507 FULLER BUI[LDING] / (FLATIRON) / NEW YORK", with patent dates 1892-1896. Copper backing of top pin stamped with Whitehead & Hoag name.
