- Badge, bronze, G.A.R. Front: Purple silk ribbon suspended from horizontal gilded pin. Back with chromolithograph of eagle clasping a sword with two cannons intersecting. Horizontal pin back in middle of ribbon with the letter "C" in the middle of pin. Star-shaped medal with a chromolithograph of soldiers shaking hands suspended from ribbon. Printed on medal is, "Grand Army of The Republic, 1861 Veteran 1866."
