Star-shaped medal with a chromolithograph of soldiers shaking hands suspended from American flag. Printed on medal: "Grand Army of The Republic, 1861 Veteran 1866." Reverse: On back of pin back, " PAT, May 4, 1886 - June 2, 1886."
