- Badge, G.A.R. Gold-colored five-pointed brass star attached by two loops to bar pin with colored U.S. shield and the word "SOUVENIR" printed across bar. Circle in center of star shows standing men and two flags. In arms of star is printed "AUG. 15th 1904". Text around circle, "GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC --- 1861 VETERAN 1866 / 38th NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT / BOSTON." Reverse stamped "SCHWAAB S. & S. CO. / MILWAUKEE".
