Needlework pattern, floral, "M B", pen ink design on paper. Brownish ink on wove paper. Possible segment of wide border design. At top of sheet, consists of arch shape of narrow parallel lines at top edge. Extending from top edge, narrow, pointed ovals. Over ovals, single scalloped edge. Below arch, second parallel arch made of two narrowly spaced parallel lines. Between the two arches, series of small circles that follow arch shape with spaces between them. Similar line of space, circles below arch. Next general arch alignment consists of fanciful blossoms. Blossoms are rough circles with scalloped edge around left side of circle on outside. On opposite side, number of small pointed ovals extending out from circle's perimeter. On right side and inside circle, scalloped line slightly curved to right. Line appears create some dimensionality of blossom. Below that, repeat of 3 parallel line arches. Space between top most arch, series of pointed ovals on short stems. Below that, next band series of space-circles between arches. Below bottom arch, another row of space-circles. Below this, single large floral group with some missing to its left side. Exists large central blossom with about 6 smaller, fanciful blossoms and leaves around this outer edge. In between with this, stems and stem sections with leaves on shorter stems. Along edge of paper on right side, four smaller drawings of leaf groups and single blossom. Leaves appear to be single units not associated with other drawings on paper. At top, in script: "M B".
