Description:
Needlework pattern, floral, pen and ink pattern on wove paper. Paper adhered to fine textile backing. Overall pattern rectangular with rounded end. Rounded end consists of seven arcs connected together in roughly, semi-circular pattern. Each arc has scalloped edge with six or seven small lobes. Each lobe, dot or small circle in its center. Each arc has circle with an arc connecting two opposite, inside edges. In center at end inside of arcs, cluster of eight small circles with single one in center. To either side of that, similar designs with 8 dots and one in center. Further up design, floral cluster with central stem leading to 11 roundish blossoms with arc connecting sides. Stem just leads to this cluster of small circles. At bottom of stem, two opposing smaller stems, 8 opposing leaves and single one at end. Beyond floral group, 7 rows of design elements. Outside edge series small arcs connected together that point outwards and have single dot in each arc. Next two rows coming up from edge, short stems with single blossom and two leaves. Stems all curved downward. Next two rows on either side of center, clusters of three small circles. Center design, floral group of 6-petal blossom connected to looping stem with three leaves on end. Next to it, 5-dot diamond. Next to that, floral group with blossom and three petals connected to looping stem with the three leaves. Next to that, circle with 4 dots around it. Pattern seems to repeat with 6-petal blossom and looping stem. End of pattern stops here.
