- Needlework pattern, floral, pen and ink design on paper. Paper almost circle shape. Design looks as if it was cut out of larger one. At one end of slightly oval shape of paper, parallel line arc that extends to edge of paper. Outside arc, smaller arcs joined together and attached to main arc. Beyond that, alternating arcs joined together and joined to high points of smaller arcs below them. Second tier of arcs, small circles in their centers. Single, floral pattern in rest of design. Almost circular, central stem that starts out as two parallel lines then becomes single stem. Pairs of leaves on either side of stem. Leaves go almost half-way around arc of stem. On outside of stem, seven fanciful blossoms on short stems. Blossoms, circles with small, single arc connecting each inside edge. Three small petals on outside of each of these blossoms. In center of circular stem, fanciful blossom connected to main stem. Blossom pointed oval with parallel line inside it. Around outside, small circles on stems. Eleven with five on either side and one at very end. On back side of sheet, central flower group replicated with finer pen; lines a little bit more even and smooth.
