- Description:
- Pattern, needlework, grapevines. Paper pounce pattern. Paper appears to have slightly laid pattern in it. Pounce design, horizontal, almost symmetrical imaginative floral pattern. Central figure of lion-like head and neck facing right. Horizontal bar below head with wrapped band around it. Below animal head, small asymetrical floral pattern. To right and left of center, symmetrical design of exaggerated and fanciful, stems, fruits (grapes), petals, blossoms, and leaves. Black residue of pounce material on back side in central area. Outer edges of designs on both sides have no residue. Pencil notation right side on front: "BB / 6309 / Miss Applet[on]". Design at left side extends right to edge of paper. Pounce pattern done by hand.
