- Description:
- Pattern, needlework, tree. Thin paper with pencil design of fanciful tree in center. Triangular-shaped base of tree that leads up to a small trunk that goes up into a cluster of imaginative large fruits, leaves, and possibly a few small blossoms mixed in. Many stems connecting the flora. Left side below tree foliage is a long Fleur-de-Lis. At left side are eight short horizontal lines two paired with each other four times. These are diagonally placed. To right underneath foliage are several line segments that represent a horizontal rectangle. Underneath that in pencil: "THE MEDICI". On back in lighter pencil: "THE MEDICI" on opposite side of the bold writing on front. On back inside of rectangle at left edge is vertically "M / C / { }". Horizontally right side of that rectangle: "TTICELLI".
