- Description:
- Pattern, needlework, bird, pencil drawing on paper. Fanciful bird sitting on a branch with fanciful fruit, stems, and leaves. Pencil drawing was done with a thick pencil lead on paper which seems to be resting on a slightly porous textile material. Evidence of a rectangular pattern under the thick lines where the high points of textile created darker spots. Also there is texture under some of the lines where paper has been pressed into the squarish pattern of the textile surface.
