- Commemorative button, 150th anniversary of the discovery of the Old Man of the Mountain, 1955. Circular gold-plated button. Obverse: image of Old Man of the Mountain in center; text around perimeter, "NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE BUTTON SOCIETY / 1955". Reverse: impressed lettering, "WATERBURY BUTTON CO. / CONN." Button is attached to card imprinted, "New Hampshire State Button Society / Celebrating the Sesquicentennial of the Discovery of / 'The Old Man of the Mountain' / Hawthorne's 'Great Stone Face' / GOLD PLATED". Metal loop on back of button.
