- Silhouette of an unidentified man, unknown artist, c. 1860. Bust-length hollow-cut silhouette of a man in profile to left; oval-shaped paper. Black textile backing. Details of coat collar, vest, bow tie, and hair added in ink and ink wash. Unsigned. Frame backed with two photographs (c. 1860), cut in an oval; first, older man with black suit and bow tie; second, a younger man with hair parted on right, wearing a striped ascot and plaid waistcoat. Oval black wood frame with brass bezel and convex glazing.
