- Silhouette. Probably portrait of Anna Ayer Kimball (1740-1819), unknown artist, 1806. Bust-length, hollow-cut profile silhouette of a woman facing left. Sitter appears to be wearing a mob cap, and has a large nose and pronounced chin. Unsigned. Ink inscription on 1984.099.35.15 A-B reverse: "Gilmanton Academy, August, 16, 1806 / Bachelder has [ ] of this [ ] three months [ ] , whose / moral [ ] [Ch]aracter, so far as I [ ] acquainted". Unframed.
