Double-sided, bust-length profiles of a man, facing right, wearing a collared shirt; cowlick on crown of head and loose hair on forehead; rough sketch of sitter's eyebrow and eye. Double line on the left of sitter's bust with pencil inscription: "original line" with arrows. Pencil inscription lower center: "Son of Rev. D.C. Roberts / Rev. Brian C. Roberts. / Dec. 6, 1885 / H.P. Hammond / afterward[?] Rev. B.C.R. / Married Miss S. Minot." Image on reverse is similar to front but facing left and missing cowlick and eye detail. Unframed.
