Bust-length profile of a woman, facing right with hair styled up on crown of her head; wearing a high-neck dress with six or more buttons down bodice. Correction at base of sitter's neck with scribbling and the letters: "L.W." Pencil inscription lower center: "Miss Alice Warde / (subs Mrs. Clarence H. Wilkins) / H.P.H. Feb. 16, 1886." Unframed.
