- Description:
- Beads, jet. Envelope (5.5" x 3") containing assortment of black jet beads on two strands of thread, on fine black netting of octagonal pattern, and some loose. To the mesh is sewn a number of black cylinders of jet. Small ball with beads wrapped around, diameter 0.5". One strand loop 4" long, another approximately 5". Third strand tied up, also approximately 5" in length. Glass cylinders: diameter about 0.07". Some faceted beads with diameter of about 0.24". Length ranges from 0.07" to 0.28". Couple of faceted, slightly domed pieces: 0.36" diameter, 0.11" high. Small faceted spheres, about 15. Envelope imprinted "L.S. BEAN / NEEDLE CRAFT SHOP / 84 North Main Street, Concord, N.H." "BRANCH SHOP YORK BEACH, MAINE." "Open June 20th, to Sett. 15th". Pencil inscription: "Jet for black satin / Nov. 1920".
