- Hatbox. Attributed to Hannah Davis (1784-1863). Owned by Asa Baker (1803-1869); Jaffrey, NH. Oval, with removable lid. Body has wooden bottom and cardboard sides. Lid is all wood. Covered with blue background wallpaper with medallion design and scrolls in light pink and cream. Interior lined with newspapers of 1858, 1859, and 1860. Label pasted on bottom interior, reading "Asa Baker / Jaffrey / N.H.", and portion of same label inside cover.
