- Colored lithograph, portrait of King George III (1738-1820), unknown artist, after Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792). Ink and gouache on paper. George III seated in high-backed chair with dark red/purple drapery behind him, in a Gothic structure. He is swathed in fur-lined dark blue robe, wearing gold and red jacket with dark blue breeches and silver shoes. Holding a scepter in his right hand. His left arm is draped casually over the chair arm. Crown on table at left. Biography of George III written in ink on backing paper. Gold paint over wood frame with beaded exterior, applied swag, crown, and laurel wreath at upper center, glazed.
