- Colored lithograph, portrait of Princess Charlotte of Mecklenburg Strelitz (1744-1818), unknown artist, after Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792). Ink and gouache on paper. Full-length side view of Princess Charlotte seated in a high-backed chair with red drapery and half Ionic columns behind her. She is dressed in a fur and gold-lined dark blue robe, with gold dress. Her hair is pinned up in a fashionable knot in the back with gold crown perched on top. Gold choker around her neck. Table on left, draped in purple fabric and holding two dark blue pillows on which lies a gold scepter. Gold paint over wood frame with beaded exterior, glazed.
