Large brick four-and-a-half story building with projecting wings; central portico, gabel dormers, window shutters, and corner quoins. Pedimented roof on wing ends with fanlight window on tympanum. Two walkways with figures standing on central walkway. Few trees and shrubs for landscaping. Signed lower right corner: "BURT SULLIVAN / 1948". On the front in text block: "NURSES' HOME ~ N. H. STATE HOSPITAL CONCORD, N.H." Lower left corner: "Alfred T. Granger Associates Inc. / Architects Engineers / Hanover NH". Unframed.
