- Altimeter. Brass, in shape of a large pocket watch. Face is marked "Compensated / Short & Mason Ltd. / London"; silver face. Outer ring (moveable) is measured in feet, inner ring in inches. Case is covered in red/brown pebbled leather; lined with green silk and velvet. Push button on right side opens case.
