- Description:
- Shears. Wrought iron and steel. Elongated oval handles about 3" long x 2" wide on outside. Connected by shanks to blades, about 6" long. Overlapping joint where blades pivot. Elongated pivot pin and nut that pass through pivot area. Handles have chamfered edges inside and out. Some minor decorative lines and shapes to handles and shanks. Blades long and narrow and come to point. Shearing surface beveled near edge on each blade. Slightly beveled area before shearing edge. Rest of blade flat stock that tapers slightly toward outer ends. Thickest part of blade about 0.2" thick.
