View over the sea to distant horizon (based on the John Frederick Kensett painting "View from the Cliff", executed after studying a black and white print of the painting). Cluster of pine trees growing from the side of a high bank at right foreground. Two figures stand on bank. Several small sailboats on water in distance at center and left. Signed at lower right "J. BURGUM". Gold-painted wood frame.
