- Telescope. Brass refracting telescope with brown wrapped covering, probably hemp, coated. Objective lens is cracked internally. Lens covers have sliding hatches for quick use. Sliding brass sleeve for field of vision adjustment and sun screening over large lens. "A & J. Casartelli / Liverpool" engraved in script on side of eyepiece tube.
