Matches, wood, 42 total. Four separate blocks of matches (a-d), all of very similar appearance. Slight variation in thickness of blocks. Medium-brown, fine-grain wood split to within 0.5" of base. Splits spaced evenly to make roughly square cross-sections. Each match has tapered tip with small blob of dried red chemical. Some marks on front and back surfaces at tip end that makes them look like they were slightly crushed or possibly cut a little. Blocks b and c were adjacent to each other before separation based upon configuration of end grain at bottom ends as well as similar slight curve.
