- Box, tin. Rectangular box with domed lid whose wire-rolled edge fits down over edge of body. Edge of body has been turned outward in a narrow hem and the end rolled over a wire to form a rest for the lid edge. Circular wire handle centered on lid. Hasp closing. Japanned with asphaltum. Stenciled in "floating" colors, on lid and front of box; fruit, flowers, and leaves. Fine double red lines outline back and ends.
