- Trunk. Hair-covered leather on wood. Decorated with brass tacks, including initials "C M" in oval on hinged lid. Scalloped red leather trim around sides of lid. Yellow leather trim on corners. Had two leather handles (one is inside trunk and other is missing). Handwritten note inside lid: " 'C. M.' / Cynthia Morgan. / Born 1804 - Her Trunk. / Pembroke, N.H. / Married 1836 to / Calvin Thorne - Concord. / She Died 1892. / Age 88 years. / Mother John Calvin Thorne / Concord N.H."
