- Dying Machine, tin. Oblong tin box with cut-in ends, copper bottom, false base sloping toward center with slit in center, with box on each end, three holes in top that lift out. Large round cage with handle, with hinged top and bottom, eight wires around sides. Domed top with rolled tin handles; dome fits over all.
