- Description:
- Mortar, granite, Native American. Medium gray with a lot of small, black crystals in it. A number of scattered, flat crystals reflecting light with different shapes around surface. Shapes and angles of reflection irregular. Shape of stone slightly flattened, irregular sphere. Top surface, tapered hole with rounded bottom. Rim of hole about 2.9" diameter. Depth hole: 2.2" approximately. Diameter bottom of hole: 1.2" approximately. Appears to have one large piece missing from one side when viewed from top. May be adjacent piece missing near bottom edge on same side. Bottom surface slightly flat with some small undulations and rectangular area about 3.5" x 2.5". Very irregular area.
