- Engraving, Lake Hotel. George Keniston Proprietor. Wolfeboro, N.H., by unknown artist, c. 1855. Ink on paper. Three-story hotel with dormers, shutters, and a widow's walk; American flag flying from flag pole on roof; two-story porch on gable end; figures stand on second story porch, arrive by horse and buggy on ground floor, and look with telescopes from widow's walk. Sign on building: "LAKE HOTEL". Below that small sign: "GEORGE KENISTON". Main building with attached one-story building attached to barn at left. Man wearing a top hat, smoking a pipe rides a horse center foreground and a dog barks at him. Titled lower center below print: "Lake Hotel. George Keniston Proprietor. Wolfeborough N.H." Unsigned.
