The mural, which is mounted at the 1 Central Square office of Cheshire County Savings Bank, was completed by Mr. Faulkner in 1955, 11 years before his death. The 'Opening of the Cheshire Railroad' depicts the May 16, 1848 event as railroad officials and friends arrived in Keene from Boston in open cars."
