Printed on paper mounted to paperboard. Scene of river meandering from left to foreground; cattle on opposite bank, center middle ground. Mountains in background. In the image in lower right corner: "Chromoprint by L. PRANG & Co. Boston". Paper label with printed inscription on reverse, lower left: "LATE AUTUMN / IN THE WHITE MOUNTAINS. / PAINTED BY A. T.
