- Melodeon. Rosewood, with hinged lyre-shaped legs. Two pedals, right for bellows and left for swell. Front half of case lid folds back to reveal keyboard. Label behind keyboard: "Prescott Brothers / Manufacturers of / Patent Aeoleon Seraphines, Reed Organs and Melodions / Main Street, No. 5 Merchants Exchange, Concord, N.H. / Patented April 17, 1841."
