- Description:
- Bowl lug, soapstone. Light gray stone fragment. Bowl wall thickness: 0.9". Lug dimension width 2.1". Thickness near center: 1". Depth: 1.3". Lug generally smooth, but many small undulations and pits in surface. Inside surface of bowl, smooth with many small pits in it. Some discoloration on bottom side of lug. Paper tag with pencil writing: "handle for / soapstone bowl / Archaic / 3000 yrs. old".
