- Hammerstone. Medium gray stone hammer. Slightly flattened ellipsoid. One side with small depression of otherwise fairly uniform and rounded surface. Depression: 0.06" deep. Opposite, slightly flattened side, more irregular due to erosion or wear due irregular composition of stone on this side. Central depression 0.13" deep. Some undulations on this side that follow some of the contours of the boundary lines. Several boundary lines within stone that are shown by contrast in color and contrast in surface wear.
