- Celt. Medium to dark gray stone. Shape tapered rectangle. Two sides taper to narrow, rounded back end. Cross section thick ellipse. Top and bottom edges flat with slightly rounded corners. Sides taper to an area just before cutting edge where taper becomes sharper. Area adjacent to cutting smooth on both sides. Cutting edge on profile slightly rounded and straight in vertical axis. Artifact smooth overall, but sides and edges slightly rough with rounded pitting. Black inclusions in stone.
