- Point, dark gray-brown projectile, stone, biface. Some areas with surface slightly lighter-colored material on surface. From top view isosceles with slightly convex sides. At back, wide tapering tab that sticks out. Edges curved with slight undulations, lead to broken-off front point. Longitudinal cross section almost flat with couple small bumps near center. Becomes just slightly thicker at back end. Evidence of item being shaped, unknown method. Paper tag, pencil writing: "projectile point / local / black flint / Owasco aspect / 1200 yrs. old".
