- Description:
- Point, chert, biface, medium tan, stone knife. Shape from top, oval with one slightly-flattened end. Edges irregular, almost all the way around. Cross section flattened oval. Longitudinal cross section also flattened oval with one end with straight taper to it. Many small planes on both sides, slightly smooth; created by napping. A number small, dark inclusions in stone. Slightly shiny surface. Paper tag, pencil printing: "knife (orig. / a spear) / jasper / western / 500-600 yrs."
