- Biface blank, Argillite. Dark gray stone. From top, shape fairly wide oval. Edges knapped. Center section thicker; tapers to all edges on one side. On other side, surface irregular and smooth, but much flatter. Lighter surface inclusions on both sides. On one edge, newer chip missing that shows much darker interior stone material.
