- Description:
- Safety pin, brass. Length of 0.04" wire that extends out of small rectangular brass cap and stretches about 1.25", forms small loop, then goes back into other side of cap. Cap 0.35" wide x 0.3" long. One end of wire crimped in cap. Cap made of thin sheet brass folded over on one side so wire can slip in. Top folded over. Four small corrugations on top of cap. Old note in accession file: "Perry Safety Pin, New Ipswich, N.H. 1875."
