- Description:
- Miniature coal scuttle. Cast iron. Flat front lip. Behind that, slightly expanded edge creates roughly oval shape with slightly pinched center where handle bosses are. Body descends smoothly to oval-footed base. Cast loop handle just below top edge at back. Two small cast ears on top edge near back. Heavy wire loop handle attached to bosses on either side. Front and left exterior side have slightly silver color. Back and right sides darker, with black residues on right side near bottom.
