- Description:
- Miniature cast iron trivet. Shield-shape body with slightly bulging sides. In center is open five-pointed star and heart. On either side of heart are open circles. Open spaces adjacent to lobes on star. Top edge of shield slightly curved downward at corners toward central handle. Handle tapered with perforated disc at end. Left and right sides of shield have raised rib extending from top toward pointed end, but ribs stop short of end by about 0.5". Feet are slightly tapered cones with flat bottoms. Bottom of trivet is flat. Some remnants of black paint on top and bottom surfaces. Body thickness: 0.12". Body and rib thickness: 0.3".
