- Description:
- Irons, leg. Wrought iron rod with two movable semi-circular leg irons. Head of rod has circular eye. Other end tapers to a blunt point and has a slot with a rivet driven through it. Rivet has large square head. Larger leg iron is circular in cross-section. Smaller leg iron is square in cross-section. Each iron has two circular eyes turned around rod. 18th century.
