- Description:
- Side chair. "Rod-back" or "bird cage" style Windsor chair. Bamboo turnings. Nine spindles up to the lower rail, five extend to the crest rail. Incised decorative line on seat encompassing spindles. Stamped: "J. R. HUNT. / MAKER" under seat. Stained brown. Chair stripped; evidence of yellow/green paint on seat bottom. Front stretcher worn down.
